Katie has been dreaming up fantasy lands, playing dress up, and crafting away since she could hold a paintbrush and crochet hook. With a penchant for dwelling in the world of possibilities, Katie was destined for a career in visioning the fantastic, and co-creating those fantasies into reality. She attended the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre, & Dance Bachelor of Fine Arts program. After a hiatus from the theatre world where she explored the lands of social entrepreneurship and built a company from scratch, Katie is back to designing sets, costumes, and scenic artistry. She loves working with Youth Theatre in a mentorship capacity and has spent the last 8 years working shows with the high school students at Pioneer Theatre Guild.
